One person, Pastor Rachael Collins, was called by God to lead a new church.
One year ago, Kaleo Church held their first official service to equip us for
One mission: to go, love, and serve the people of Piedmont, our community, and the world.

During the year, Kaleo found many new opportunities to go, love, and serve. Angela asked if David's Table could be given a place to meet, and now the Fellowship Hall buzzes with activity every Monday, where adults with disabilities participate in art, music, dinner, and Bible study. A desire to connect with people living near the church who would love to hang out for a meal and friendly conversation led to The Community Dinner Church on Tuesdays.

Kaleo's building only holds about 80 people, but there is always room for
One more, as
One God called us to
One year of Sunday morning equipping, which led to
One story (of many) we'd like to share from our first year:

One guy showed up at Dinner Church. Then he showed up on Sunday morning. He invited his mom, then his dad. (His mom told us that she came because we had good food but stayed because she likes the people.) He joined David's Table, asked for a Bible, and then asked for help reading his Bible. This anniversary Sunday, we were honored to baptize him.

One year
Three baptisms
Thirty+ people in community around dinner tables
Forty+ people equipped each Sunday, and we are just getting started.

We are living out Kaleo
(pronounced ka-leh-o, from the Greek καλέω, meaning to call or invite),
as we go, love, and serve.
