Marketplace Ministers

At Kaleo Church, we believe that everyone is called - it's in our name!

In the New Testament of the Bible, written in Greek, Kaleo (καλέω - pronounced kah-LAY-oh) means to call.

But God's calling is not just to the pulpit. The word used for our career choice—vocation—also means calling. Some are called to vocational ministry and become pastors or missionaries. Others are called to different vocations: doctors, managers, lawyers, teachers, engineers, food servers, military personnel, salespeople, athletes, farmers . . . the positions and places God calls us to are as diverse as the people he created. 

At Kaleo, believers who acknowledge that God has called them to go into their workplace to share his love and serve people in his name are commissioned as Marketplace Ministers.
